The Sapling is a two-bedroom cabin designed for easy living. The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, while the second bedroom offers a queen—an ideal setup for two couples or a long weekend with friends.

The Outdoor Experience
The outdoor space is built for the Benezette lifestyle. We provide a locally-made fire ring with supplied firewood and kindling—perfect for watching the sunset or listening for the elk to bugle in the fall.

Pro-Tip for Travelers: We keep it authentic. While well water is provided for general use, we supply a dedicated spring water dispenser for your drinking needs.

Note: To maintain a peaceful environment for all guests, smoking, pets, parties, and large gatherings are not permitted. Must be 25+ to book.

100% refunds are given for any cancellations made within 48 hours of making your reservation unless reservations are made within 7 days of check-in. Reservations made within 7 days of check-in are final and nonrefundable.

Cancellations made outside of the 48 hour window will follow the below refund schedule:
45 days or more before check-in - 50% refund
44 days or less before check-in - no refunds issued

If you would like to reschedule your stay, we are happy to do this up to 45 days prior to check-in. A 10% rescheduling fee will apply.

Please consider purchasing trip insurance to protect what you've invested for your trip to Benezette.

The cabin was exceptionally clean and well stocked with dishes and supplies to meet our needs. We found the bed to be somewhat hard and the living room furniture difficult to get comfortable on.

Cabin is furnished with everything you need. It’s like a home away from home!
All the necessary things are provided, towels, wash cloths, shampoos, conditioners in the bathroom. The bedrooms have great beds, even with a warming towel container.
The owners make sure that everything you need is provided. Even snow shovels ?

We stayed at the cabin for 4 nights. It is a very cozy and very clean cabin.. it's very close to all the elk viewing spots .quiet neighbors. We will stay here again!!

We always love our stays at In The Sticks. Owners are super nice and caring, cabins are always clean and furnished with everything you need except food and your personal items. I would always recommend anyone to stay there. Thank you Morgan and Jeremy.

Our stay at the Sapling cabin was almost like a stay at a home away from home. It was comfortable and well stocked with the items needed to stay in an cook a meal, have a campfire, play games, or just sit and relax. It is very close to the Elk Visitor Center and the different viewing areas.
We recommend In The Sticks Cabin rentals for anyone wanting to stay "in" the Pa elk country.

The Sapling is very welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare meals.
We enjoyed coffee on the quiet porch in the mornings and campfires in the evenings.
It is truly a great get away spot!

This is a comfortable cabin near elk viewing areas. State game lands are within walking distance of the cabin. It's not the only cabin in the area; in fact, it's in a sort of undeveloped subdivision of cabins and homes. So, it's remote and peaceful, but not isolated. It looked like one of the coziest cabins on that hill, and there's plenty of space between lots.

We didn't avail ourselves of it, but there is fire ring out front, and the host graciously provided enough wood for two or three campfires. We did step out to enjoy the night sky which was crystal clear. If you let your eyes adjust, you can see the Milky Way.

The water is strong with iron as the host warned us but it ran clear in the sinks and the shower. We did bring bottled water for drinking. The kitchen is stocked with the basic cookware; we had all we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner. The beds that we used were comfortable; we slept soundly.

I'd recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the area.
