In The Sticks Cabins is operated by me, Hi! I’m Morgan! and my husband, Jeremy.
Jeremy and his family have been exploring Elk County since he was a kid. His grandfather helped to build a hunting camp in Driftwood (which, is technically in Cameron County) and his family spent summers there hanging out in the Sinnemahoning Creek, watching wild life, and smelling the ferns.
We’ve been visiting that hunting camp with our son and nieces and nephews since they were old enough to walk. It’s fun to see the kids doing things outdoors and experiencing the wild life. While the husband’s family still has that hunting camp, we’ve started our own memories in Benezette.
Jeremy constructed both The Sapling and The Branch with skills he learned from his uncle. He also renovated both The Willow and The Hickory Nut. In The Sticks Cabins has been a family affair, with everyone pitching in to paint (including lots of spray painting!), move furniture and decorate our cabins.
We enjoy the slower pace, quieter living, and ability to connect with each other while disconnecting from the world. We hope you’ll enjoy Benezette as much as we do! Thanks for supporting our small, family owned business!
